Had a seizure again today :(

My mum took the two oldest boys & the baby out again - something called 'holiday club' that is going on this week. Anyway, while she was gone I was home with the teenager and I had another seizure. It started upstairs, then I slipped/fell down the stairs and it continued down by the front door.

the teenager was pretty freaked out, I didn't mean to upset her. I feel sorry for her because the last time I had one she was home with me.

Mum called the vet and they put me on some medication. Mum is worried I'll do more damage to myself than the side affects of long-term medication. I tend to agree with her.

I'll write more soon on how the medication is going...Thanks to everyone who has supported us during all of this!

Aunt Barbara!

My Aunt Barbara is coming! Well, she's got tickets to come, but she is waiting on their passports - something about a total mess...

Anyway she is coming with her two kids. I've never seen them before and I was really excited about them coming - all I ever hear about around here is Aunt Barbara this, Aunt Barbara that...it would be nice to actually SMELL Aunt Barbara for once!

Play with me!

Today I saw the baby in the high chair, and since Mum had been playing ball with me loads today, I decided I wanted to keep playing! So when she was making dinner, I took my ball and put it in the baby's lap and put my head on his legs. I don't know why he didn't throw the ball. He looks like a human, he has the same face, arms, and legs...and he's not hairy...so I'm a bit confused. The baby likes to reach out and try to pet me so I know he wants to play...

Mum just laughed and said, "silly puppy, Ethan can't play with you yet!". I guess I'm gonna have to wait until tomorrow, maybe then he can play with me!

My MRI scan

in June I had another seizure. I went for an MRI scan and my mum got the results today - no problems with my brain!

I'm waiting to see what they do next. I'm still my usual self, I don't feel any different except now I really don't like the sound of the vacuum cleaner. that just might be coincidence though.

I'll let you know what my normal vet says when she gets back from holiday next week. Mum said this vet was concerned about putting me on medication because of the affects it could have on my liver long-term.

The Day After

Today was much better. Mum didn't give me any Pedigree Mixer like she did yesterday and I was fine - no seizures at all. The vet said it probably wasn't that food, but my mum isn't convinced. There were massive pet food recalls in the States and it's funny that when she opened up a brand new bag after eating one serving I had a seizure a few hours later. My regular Oscar food is being delivered tomorrow thank goodness.

I'm just glad I didn't have any more seizures, they are scary.
